Khepri (scarab god) at shirt.woot

Hi Everyone - I've got a new one up for this week's "Ancient Egypt" derby. It's a one color scarab bettle (yes I know there are a lot of scarabs) that I did.

Hope you like it!

Victory is Mine!

Huzzah and thank you to the voters (and of course the shirt.woot folks for your fine contest) for voting me into second place in the Derby! I'm really stoked to finally have a "real" derby victory. I really enjoyed both my Editor's Choice prints, but to win the contest is something else entirely.

Hope some of you buy a shirt and enjoy it!

Venn Vittles (Day 2 MSCE2010) at shirt.woot

So for day two of Make Something "Cool" Everyday I made a Venn diagram of what could possibly be in a hot dog. I struggled for a long time on what to put in the circles and overlapping bits and had lots of good suggestions but settled on the raccoon, pigeon/seagull, and platypus.

Thanks for any votes :D

Various Volumes on shirt.woot (day 1 MSCE2010)

A shirt proclaiming my love of lab glassware - so functional and good looking! This week's shirt.woot derby is "the letter V", first in what will obviously a nonsequential series of letter themed derbies. Not sure how many people read this but any and all votes are appreciated!

Also: This is day one of me trying to make something new every day this year. Let's see how far I can go!

New at DBH

Well, maybe not completely new. I took the Death's Head Hawkmoth design I did and put it back to one color, making a pattern out of it as was suggested by someone. At first I really didn't like it so much, but tried a few color variations and size variations until there were two that looked pretty good.

Now, the all over print has kind of grown on me, maybe it's just the wine talking, or maybe it's just because it's my own work, but I think it looks good. If you do to, I'd appreciate a vote and comment over at Design by Humans.

Threadless Loves Innovation

I reworked this old sunflower design that I had - it's supposed to be that the center of the sunflower is made of solar cells - not sure how apparent that is. I'm really did put a lot of work into this one so a decent score would be nice!

As Good As Popped @ Threadless

Old design - new title! I added some highlighting and moved everything closer together for this popcorn design I originally did for shirt.woot. Since they didn't want it, It's up at Threadless so hopefully it gets a decent score there.
